Calivigny Garden Guest Houses International Architecture Ideas Competition
All participants are required to submit the online registration form and complete a
payment prior to the registration deadline established by the competition schedule in
order for their competition proposal to be reviewed and evaluated. The registration
process can be completed in 3 steps:

Complete and submit the registration form located on the Architectural Concept
Step 2: Payment
PayPal via is the payment option.
Step 3: Registration Code
Upon submitting and completing Step 1 Registration Form and Step 2 Payment, the
team leader should email a copy of the transaction receipt to
firstname.lastname@example.org as proof of payment.
The email subject line must include the name of the team leader.
The team leader will then receive a Registration Code by email within 24 hours (1
business day) confirming the team’s registration in the competition.

The jury will evaluate the projects based on the proposed objectives, the main being
the creation of a Guest Houses in Grenada, with the indications provided in this briefing
and based in the originality, quality and clarity of the proposal’s design and
A total of 50 proposals will be selected for the final round. Among the 50 finalists, the
jury will choose the winner, the second and third place and the 7 honorable mentions.
The jury members will base their decision on their own expertise, the work submitted
by the participants and the information available on the competition website.
For whatever reason a jury member is unable to review and evaluate during the
evaluation period, the jury member may be replaced by an alternate member selected
This international one-stage architecture ideas competition invites all architects,
landscape architects and designers, students and professionals with a degree in
architecture, landscape architecture and design studies to develop and submit great
ideas for the design of a residential complex (Guest Houses) located at the Calivigny
Garden, St. George, Grenada. West Indies.
It is essential that each design proposal emphasizes and celebrates the site and
surrounded area close to the Calivigny Harbor at South of the site, being a harbor
surrounded by mangroves.

Jury members will assign three (3) awards and seven (7) honorable mentions.
First Prize 2000 USD (two thousand US Dollars)
Second Prize: 1000 USD (one thousand US Dollars)
Third Prize: 500 USD (five hundred US Dollars)

All the admitted design entries will be published on the website
The organization will make an effort to give the maximum visibility on web and paper
magazines to winning projects and honorable mentions. However, the actual
publication abides exclusively in the relationship
between www.archiconceptdesigns.com and editors.
All the projects that win a monetary prize will become property of
www.archiconceptdesigns.com. The remains entries submitted the Intellectual
property of the property remains to the creator.
The competition is an ideas competition and will not be built.
Entries submitting and/or final winning of the competition does not constitute any kind
of professional commitment between the participant and any of the organizers.

projects with freedom of formats, dimensions and layout

Who can Participate
Any architecture student or professional architect can participate in CALIVIGNY
GARDEN GUEST HOUSES COMPETITION, regardless of their nationality. Likewise,
people from other disciplines can also participate, such as engineers, philosophers,
sociologists, photographers, etc. It is not necessary to have an architect on the team,
although it is recommended.
Teams may be formed by a maximum of four (4) members and a minimum of one (1).
All team members must be 18 years of age or older.
The registration fee must be paid per team, regardless of the number of members (1- 4 people).
In the event that a team or participant wants to participate with more than one proposal,
it will be necessary to register twice (or as many times as proposals will be submitted),
paying the full price corresponding to each registration.
Under no circumstances may jurors, the organization or persons directly related to the
jury participate in this competition.
