PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Designing a single family house, today, means defining a new model. Even if designed without a specific location, the project wants to return “value” to the spaces of everyday life devoid of any symbolic content by typification of lifestyle. The project wants to innovate and reflect critically about the role of the housing adapting to new social and behavioural models. The design process arises from a study of our cultural context to which we belong: the city of Naples. In particular, the reference is to the model of the house of the Roman city of Pompeii which, we believed, can spring the quality of contemporary space. Simplifying, the rooms become the new prefabricated housing modules that open into a covered atrium. This one becomes the collective and relational space containing living-kitchen-dining room to which are connected independently the private spaces of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Driven by the idea that shape the land and the matter is to imagine a better environment, my design experience, curious and attentive, always aspires to the search for a “vision” different. Always prone to constant research and innovation, attentive to the various forms of art, I have worked with several design teams. My work is done thesis and antithesis, to get involved with courage and desire to know.

I believe that architecture is the study of the spatiality in the different scales, from the landscape to the city, from urban space to architectural object, always in relation to the history, context and man. Through participation in national and international competitions, as well as deepening the various issues that arise from time to time, i lead a research that seeks to define a method that is far from predetermined solutions and formal standards. At the base there is an experimentation, that is the interpretation of the many aspects involved in the process of composition, to provide a solution that is spontaneous, natural and never hostile to the people who live.
