Architecture competition that aims to create an iconic, monument located within Bayfront Park that will become an instant idenƟfi er for Miami. Think of how existing landmarks around the world are synonymous with the cities they inhabit. Think of how these iconic elements are instrumental in the marketing of their own cities. Having a park so close to the water is rare for most cities, especially one that is also in an urban setting, therefore, designers are asked not to do away with the park. Improvements can be made, but the primary object is how to site and design the proposed landmark.
