Ideas competition held by the city of Luzzana for design proposals for the reconstruction of the historic city center.
The competition aims to identify the criteria for intervention in order to create new exhibition spaces, mainly temporary, while highlighting the art works fixed in the territory, for the city of Luzzana, in order to promote economically and culturally the city, taking advantatge of the peculiarities of the territory and the artistic and cultural values it has.
This initiative comes from the opportunity to take advantatge of the resources and the artistic potential of the area, especially the figure and work of the famous local artist Alberto Meli, with the intention of making an outdoor museum in the context of the festival of art that the city wants to organize annually.
It is required that the new public spaces generated by the proposed interventions are designed to be able to integrate and connect with the existing environment, with special reference to the presence of Giovanelli Palace, the Museum of Contemporary Art.
