Restricted competition for the construction of the new park “Park Mitte” in the Altona district of Hamburg, Germany.
The contest is in an area of approximately 2.7 hectares, and the area of influence is a little larger and includes the buildings of the district court and park roads. The focus of the competition is the design of public spaces, the distribution giving functional use to the park and the transition from the park to the urban environment.
In the vicinity of park there are residential buildings and it is pretended the establishment of nurseries and schools with taking part of the park and joining its use.
