This is an aerodrome dedicated to tourism and recreation, open to air navigation. Infrastructure is mainly used by six associations with about 500 members, and offer the following services: powered flight, parachuting and gliding. Keep in mind that the site is unique in the Lower Rhine and is an important place for skydiving. The airfield is spread over 60 acres of land and 10 buildings (hangars, offices, houses, shops, museums, accommodation), some of them obsolete structures with an area of 5560 meters. The aerodrome is now owned by the CUS, which should initiate a restructuring program designed to ensure the safety and accessibility of the facility to comply with the rules and improve hygiene and conditions of the reception and practice.
The budget for the works is € 6.2 million.
