Restricted competition for the construction of a new theater in the Wacken area in the city of Strasbourg, France.
The object of the competition is to build a theater with an area of about 4,500 square meters consisting of:
– Public reception spaces of 900 square meters, including bar services, ticketing and waiting services.
– Broadcasting spaces / testing spaces of 1,470 square meters with a large room with a capacity for 600-700 people and a small room with capacity for 250 people.
– The art space of 220 square meters comprising preparation spaces
– Logistics space of 740 square meters, including workshops, scenery storage
– Living spaces artists / staff of 250 square meters
– The administrative areas of 250 square meters consisting of offices and administrative areas
– General logistics areas of 175 square meters consisting of local of maintenance and building maintenance.
The budget allocated for the construction of the theater is € 15,818,000.
