Type: Restricted projects competition for architects with 10 teams selected.
Restricted competition organized by the municipality of Appiano, in collaboration with the association “Vineum-Appiano,” for the design of the building’s entrance, with the topic of wine in the different aspects of culture, mythology, history and the ‘art.
The task of the participants in the contest will be to develop an overall concept that contains substantially the design guidelines for the construction of the entrance of the building, including furniture design, the steps necessary for the rehabilitation of the wineries and the link between them, and the design of the exhibition.
The main objective of the exhibition are the historic cellars of the same, which have been made available for the development of the exhibition.
During pre-selection, 10 participants will be chosen from applications received for participation. This 10 participants could participate anonymously in the design competition. The deciding factor for choosing the winner of the competition is only the quality of the competition project.
