Restricted competition for the construction of a cultural center in Mougins, France.
The cultural center will include:
– An auditorium.
– The local school of music.
– Artistic atelliers.
– Technical areas and accommodation of the guards..
– Auxiliary outdoor spaces.
This center is located in the Faissole, constituting, with the School of Dance “Rosella Hightower” which is already on the site, a “cultural campus” that symbolizes the crossroads of different cultural and artistic practices, as well as various public institutions.
The project is divided into two distinct phases:
Phase 1
The construction of a building comprising:
-1 Auditorium with ancillary spaces (dressing rooms, reservations …), Useful area of 970 square meters
-1 School of Music with administrative spaces with an usable area of 526 square meters
-1 Unifying space for the reception of all public facilities of interest in 126 square meters
-1 Caretaker Area and all technical aspects for the proper functioning of the equipment. 170 m2
-The development of outdoor space for service and operation of the building. Net area of 160 m2.
Phase 2 – Phase conditional
The construction of a series of studios for amateur artistic practices in the area of interest. 191 square meters.
