Restricted competition for the development of the Central Station surroundings, in Renens, Switzerland.
This is a project for the development of the common areas (north and south of the station site), construction of a pedestrian bridge over the tracks and the transformation of the railway infrastructure.
The project aims to:
- The construction of a building on the west of the current passenger building that will house shops, homes and offices.
- The renovation of the passenger areas at the station.
- The construction of a building on the east of the shopping area, which will hold administrative areas.
- The underpass will be expanded with a commercial area.
- The construction of a bridge for non-motorized traffic on roads passing
- The design of the station square.
