The proposal is due to the significant growth of the Ludwig-Maximilians University in recent years, being located in the city center of Munich, and with the structure of the building that does not meet the current requirements of a modern library because of their specific spatial and functional requirements.
The space program of the faculty includes approximately 6,100 m².
