Ideas competition for architecture students organized by the Foundation Mechitar that considers, in the context of the future European City of Memory and Armenian heritage , the creation of a Memorial Museum of the Armenian Genocide at the surroundings of Paris, along the Seine, Cultural Valley of the Hauts de Seine department . It will be located opposite of the Seguin Island in a sector experiencing a full urban renewal destined to become one of the jewels of the Grand Paris.

The site carries a symbolic charge: since 1928 , a number of students from five continents have been formed in the city and the boarding school Moorat Samuel residing in the area. This is the elite of the Armenian Diaspora – intellectuals, artists, ministers , businessmen – who went through Sevres.

The European City of Memory and Armenian heritage , along with all the activities taking place there, will be a unique area and unrivaled in Europe outside Armenia.
