International architecture competition that invites architects to design two public housing buildings in the Danish cities of Kolding and Århus .
Proposals should be based on good quality that the construction experiences in the social housing sector have been conducted for many years. Proposals must also be innovative , daring to challenge conventional thinking and set new standards for modern, sustainable housing that are good for life and work .
The two selected construction projects contain essentially different challenges : In Seest area , in the town of Kolding , you must build a dense low-rise building in existing urban area . In Lisbjerg area of the city of Aarhus , you should build an apartment building in a new area of the city near Lisbjerg village .
For the Kolding project, you should design a building of 35 housing units in approximately 3,525 m² and in the city of Aarhus , you should design a building of 40 housing units in an area of 4,000 m² .
