Design competition concerning the somatic sub-project of the New Hospital and New Psychiatry Bispebjerg in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Further to its 2020 Capital Region Hospital Plan, the Capital Region has decided to gather the functions of the existing Frederiksberg Hospital and the existing Bispebjerg Hospital on the grounds of today’s existing Bispebjerg Hospital.
The somatic project is divided into a number of sub-projects, including a multi-level car park, a laboratory and logistics building, conversion/renovation projects, and the somatic sub-project itself. This somatic sub-project is expected to have a total floorage of approx. 78 000 m2 with a budget of approx. DKK 1 500 000 000, ( € 201 milions ) excluding VAT.
