The area is north bounded by the Freiburg road , south and east through a small wooded area behind the A12 motorway . In the West, the system directly adjoins the industrial complex ” Bodenweid ” Askom.

At the final stages of construction in 2009, the natural grass playing field lying in the eastern part of the plant was replaced with running track and athletics facilities by two artificial grass playing fields.

Stadtbauten Bern include a project proposal for a new wardrobe building and two new artificial grass fields. One of the new fields should be eligible under the mandatory criteria of the Swiss Football Association for the championship games of the First League.
