The Ministry of Education and Research has given the assignment of planning a new research and education building for life science, chemistry and pharmacy studies at the University of Oslo. Statsbygg’s assignment runs through to the finished sketch of the project, but the Ministry of Education and Research aims at providing Statsbygg the assignment to lead the project until the pilot project. If the Norwegian Parliament shall allocate the necessary funds for the completion of the project is still unclear. On the completion of the pilot project, shall the project go through external quality assurances before any decision in the Norwegian Parliament regarding the funding and decision implementation.
