Design Rochester is proud to announce the first ever Rochester Design Competition. Modeled after AIA Minnesota’s St. Paul Prize, the Rochester Design Competition focuses on a transitional site in the heart of downtown Rochester.
Four contiguous properties along the Zumbro River with breathtaking views of the Rochester skyline are the subject of the 2014 Rochester Design Competition. The GF Pougiales Trust is working closely with the neighborhood to develop a proposal for investment and improvements to these four properties. The Rochester Design Competition will provide an avenue to develop a wide variety of design solutions to the unique challenge of housing demand within the traditional fabric of an urban neighborhood.
