The NXT CITY PRIZE is all about vision – the vision to reimagine Toronto’s public spaces and to inject asense of energy, dynamism and reflexivity. How do our public spaces respond to the speed of today’s world, for the generation of tomorrow?
This is your time to be heard. We’re looking for ideas from new and young voices to show the city how public space can better meet the need of our connected and social generation. It’s an open invitation for young people to improve open space for all.
If you’re under 30, show us your big idea to improve a public space in Toronto and you could take home a $5,000 cash prize. Not only that, the City is ready to listen. You’ll also be given up to an additional $10,000* to work with a team of leading experts and turn your vision into reality. Competition opens April 30 2014. All entries must be submitted by July 31 2014 at 11:59pm.
