Program
The Calivigny Garden Guest Houses offers a unique experience for residential design dedicated to visitants for short-term and long-term periods, in the middle of the Caribbean Region, being Grenada one of the most safety country in the region. The site, marked as Lot 11, have partial view to the Calivigny Harbor Bay, a great water mass to be used as part of the landscape of the design. The program included the following but not limit:

-Point of Access/Entrance To be determinate by each participant’s proposal
-Driveway/Parking Min. 5 parking lots
-Office 9 m2
-10 Guest Houses including at least 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Kitchen-Dining Room-Living Room and Terrace/Balcony. 10 x 37 m2 = 370 m2
-Laundry 9 m2
-Swimming Pool including Pump Room 30 m2
-Technical Room(Water Pumps) 2 m2
-Technical Room(Electrical) 1 m2

There are limits in height of 30 meters, not limit to excavations or shapes as long as the design is keep into the designated area. Setbacks from property line is 1,80 m. To encourage using passive solutions in order to reduce consume of energy will be an asset.

JURY MEMBERS
The jury members will be composed of international professional architects and will be announced on www.archiconceptdesigns.com.

Evaluation Process
The jury will evaluate the projects based on the proposed objectives, the main being the creation of a Guest Houses in Grenada, with the indications provided in this briefing and based in the originality, quality and clarity of the proposal’s design and presentation.
A total of 50 proposals will be selected for the final round. Among the 50 finalists, the jury will choose the winner, the second and third place and the 7 honorable mentions. The jury members will base their decision on their own expertise, the work submitted by the participants and the information available on the competition website. For whatever reason a jury member is unable to review and evaluate during the evaluation period, the juty member may be replaced by an alternate member selected by www.archiconceptdesigns.com.

Short Description

This international one-stage architecture ideas competition invites all architects, landscape architects and designers, students and professionals with a degree in
architecture, landscape architecture and design studies to develop and submit great ideas for the design of a residential complex (Guest Houses) located at the Calivigny Garden, St. George, Grenada. West Indies. It is essential that each design proposal emphasizes and celebrates the site and surrounded area close to the Calivigny Harbor at South of the site, being a harbor
surrounded by mangroves.

Jury members will assign three (3) awards and seven (7) honorable mentions.
-First Prize 2000 USD (two thousand US Dollars)
-Second Prize: 1000 USD (one thousand US Dollars)
-Third Prize: 500 USD (five hundred US Dollars)
-Seven (7) honorable mentions.

Publications
All the admitted design entries will be published on the website www.archiconceptdesigns.com
The organization will make an effort to give the maximum visibility on web and paper magazines to winning projects and honorable mentions. However, the actual
publication abides exclusively in the relationship between www.archiconceptdesigns.com and editors.

Who can Participate

Any architecture student or professional architect can participate in CALIVIGNY GARDEN GUEST HOUSES COMPETITION, regardless of their nationality. Likewise,
people from other disciplines can also participate, such as engineers, philosophers, sociologists, photographers, etc. It is not necessary to have an architect on the team, although it is recommended.
Teams may be formed by a maximum of four (4) members and a minimum of one (1). All team members must be 18 years of age or older. The registration fee must be paid per team, regardless of the number of members (1-4 people).
In the event that a team or participant wants to participate with more than one proposal, it will be necessary to register twice (or as many times as proposals will be submitted), paying the full price corresponding to each registration. Under no circumstances may jurors, the organization or persons directly related to the jury participate in this competition.
