The Department of Architecture at the University of Ferrara, in collaboration with Restauro, Salone dell’Arte del Restauro e della Conservazione dei Beni Culturali e Ambientali promote an international competition to design the use of cultural heritage.

The competition aims to reward projects, realized or unrealized, designed to expand the users base, which remove barriers that limit access to cultural heritage, through innovative design capable of making heritage accessible. Inclusive design for the use of cultural heritage means the design of a system of forms, objects and information supports able to enable, facilitate, improve, simplify and enhance the viewing experience of an event or a cultural good.
