Competition for concept Design for the Redevelopment of the Curragh Racecourse in the city of Newbridge, in Ireland.
Curragh Racecourse Ltd. is conducting a Design Contest on a voluntary basis under the Restricted Procedure leading to the selection of a Concept Design for the proposed redevelopment of the Curragh Racecourse at the Curragh, Co. Kildare, Ireland.
The objective of the Contest is to select an exceptional Concept Design, delivered by an eminently experienced signature architect. This Contest will begin with a selection stage, on foot of which it is envisaged that a total of six participants will be invited to submit Vision Designs in return for the payment of a stipend of Euro 8,000. Three of these Vision Designs will be selected to go forward to the Concept Design Stage and each of the participants submitting a complete Concept Design will receive an additional sum of Euro 30,000.
The winning Concept Design chosen by the Jury will be eligible for the negotiation of a follow-on contract, bearing a direct functional link to the chosen Concept Design and thus having a relationship of interdependence and complementarity with that design.
