International architecture competition for the “Lombok International Bamboo Architecture Festival”, organized by the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) and Budi Pradono Architects, on December 11-14, 2013 at Senggigi Beach, Lombok.
The festival will display 50 architectural installations, with bamboo as the primary material. The installations comprise works by 50 groups from different countries.
These work of art are among the best as chosen by a team of curators including Budi Pradono, Jay Subiakto, Asmudjo Jono Irianto, and Christoph Tonges (CONBAM – Advanced Bamboo Application, Germany).
Participant must submit the design of the bamboo installation with the maximum size 5m x 5m x 8m that will built on Senggigi Beach of Lombok Island; the presentation media it can be made with digital drawing or sketch drawing on A3 size of paper and submit digitally in JPEG file, no more than 2MB.
