Restricted competition that intends to acquire the best design proposal for the renovation of old barracks “Serafino Gnutti” located in Via Francesco Crispi in Brescia.
The competition is open to professionals in possession of the requirements referred to in art. 5, and is required by the owner of the company to select ideas and proposals for the recovery of the property.
The Ministry of Defense, together with the State Property Agency ruled that the building exposed by this contract is no longer useful for use by the Defence Administration and therefore enters a dismantling and improvement program. So, the organizers intend to collect ideas and suggestions for the recovery of the building which has played an important role in changing long functions from the Religious to the military to reach a residential future.
The project will aim to identify a set of actions and works that have been carried out in view of the overall redevelopment of the area, from the definition of the relationship between public and private spaces, from urban scale to define the details of the residential scale.
