International ideas competition Sleep ReardonSmith Student Award, that was created to give students of architecture and design across Europe an opportunity to engage with the challenges and delights of working in the hotel and resort sector.
For 2014, students are invited to design a new hotel on a site which has already been cleared in the old quarter of a European City. The hotel is expected to attract both business and leisure travellers and should equate to a good four star standard in terms of its facilities and the sizes and mix of bedrooms and suites.
The award is open to undergraduates and postgraduates studying a full-time architecture or interior design course at a college in Europe.
