Details: To redesign the link between civil life and the waterfront of the canal, connect the blue and green rings together, then to create a better environment. Tainan City Government sincerely invites domestic and international design teams to participate in this project, then to witness the transition of Tainan City.
This construction project of China-Town Plaza and the Neighborhood Area is conducting on international design competition, and the transformation budget is about NT$210,000,000. The construction area which locates at the west side of Tainan City, includes the area of “China-Town”, Chungcheng Road and Haian Road. The area of this project is 5.46 hectare.
The Tainan City Government is planning to make a comprehensive plan of its surroundings, to rebuild the streetscape and public space after demolish China- Town. And via the concept of environmental art, landscapes rebuilt and simplify public facilities to build large open space in old town area, then to create a better urban environment.
We sincerely welcome domestic and international design teams to participate in this project and build a new urban core with existing urban context and waterfront of the canal to Tainan City.
The Budget of Procurement/
The budget of project is about NTD 210,000,000 and using fix rate method.

The project is to be handled through an open tendering procedure, on a “tendering by two-step and tender opening not on a multi-step” basis, and to be awarded to the most advantageous tender
