This program proposes that design is fundamental to creating change because of the particular resourcefulness that designers represent. Ready to imagine and prototype, brave in the face of disorder and complexity, holistic and people-centered in their approach to defining problems, designers have a vital role to play in making society itself more successful.
The preceding paragraphs offer a broad scope of design options of all scales and types. We are looking for new ways of thinking about urban transit options and their impact on the cityscape, the human experience, and the built and natural environments.
