Winners of Flinders Street Station Design Competition. In November 2011, the Victorian Coalition launched a $1 million international design competition.
The Flinders Street Station Design Competition sought the best ideas from around the world to re-energise the station and its surrounds, while maintaining its beloved heritage features.
The People’s Choice Award provided the public with an opportunity to give feedback on the six shortlisted designs via a voting system on this website during a two week period from Tuesday 23 July to Monday 5 August. Feedback from the People’s Choice Award voting will help inform any future Government decision making and planning for redeveloping the station.
