Textile R&D Naming
Desall is looking for a new name and payoff to represent a network of Italian companies in the textile sector whose aim is based on international growth and shared innovation amongst the companies forming the product chain. Among others, the proposed solutions should include references to the textile industry and the constant devotion of the network to collaborative research, development and innovation.

General guidelines
Proposals should:
– be written in English. The name should be easy to pronounce and understandable on a
global level;
– have a professional, innovative and internationally-oriented tone;
– be easy to remember and easy to communicate;
– not include names of words that are complicated or difficult to understand;
– be composed of up to 8 characters (maximum);
– include 2 to 4 words for the payoff, with the aim of conveying the message in a clear, concise
and easily memorable manner;
– include a payoff that complements and reinforces the meaning of the name.
Concepts and values to convey
– References to the textile industry.
– The constant devotion of the network to research, development and innovation.
– Collaboration and information sharing among companies.
– The importance of industry-specific training.
Target
The network will interact with firms from the private sector, schools and universities, research and
development centers, professional practices, and freelancers.
